About Sharon Brown

I was first introduced to Feng Shui in the mid 1990’s, after reading what little was available on the subject back then. Not long after this we won a trip to Singapore through a radio show. The trip was the turning point in my life and the decision to take on Feng Shui as a career change was made. Upon our return I attended an extension course through the University of Western Australia on Feng Shui, it was here that we discovered that I knew more than I realized and the facilitator of the course suggested that I take up formal learning with Master Raymond Lo who was coming to Melbourne, Australia to facilitate Feng Shui courses a few months later.

It has to be pointed out that at this time in our lives life was not going too well; there was a business that had been closed down, there were debts from it to be paid, a young daughter that was sick all the time, a marriage that was rocky and money was almost non-existent (if only I had known Feng Shui BEFORE we bought the house); where were we going to find the finances to travel to Melbourne and pay to attend this course?

In 2001 I made the trip twice to Melbourne to attend Master Lo’s courses and received certificates for Feng Shui Part 1 & 2, 4 Pillars of Destiny Part 1 & 2 and I-Ching. In the same year I registered The International House of Feng Shui. I was then in a position to improve the ‘horrendous house from hell’ by putting into practice what I had learnt. The results were almost instant. By the beginning of 2002, I left my job to focus on building my Feng Shui business and have not looked back. By 2003 the health issues improved, the marriage became stronger, money was improving, and we sold the house and became debt free.

Before too long I was also being asked to be a guest speaker on many radio shows (even the one that I had won the trip to Singapore from), appeared television lifestyle programs and for other groups. I became a contributor writer for a magazine which was followed by publishing my first book ‘4 Pillars of Destiny – The Feng Shui Way’.

In 2002 we were a finalist as Best New Business in the ECU North West Metro Small Business Awards. In 2004 we won the Presidents Award for Expertise for the National Speakers Association. Then in 2005 we were a finalist as Business Woman of the Year for the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre Awards and finalist as Business of the Year for the ECU North West Metro Small Business Awards. We also are Platinum Member of the Association of Feng Shui Consultants and a member of National Speakers Association of Australia.

The International House of Feng Shui has grown enormously since its humble beginnings and continues to thrive, at the same time being creative and diverse. I am now called a Master of Feng Shui by many and I believe it is due to the results and that I am passionate about knowing, learning, sharing, using and teaching as much as I can about Feng Shui.

I have built my business on how I would like to be treated and my mantra has always been:-

You Give Good, You Get Good Back
Give Bad and You Will Get Bad Back
(usually ten fold)

I am a business woman, a wife to a very supportive husband (Steve) of 16 years, a mother to a gorgeous and very talented 13 year old young lady (Shayla) and nurturer to Bridey Brown (the Cat), Fu (the Dog) and plenty of Goldfish (for prosperity).

I look forward to being of service to you.
